Best Photo Spot:

The most iconic view of the Great Torii Gate can be found at Hitasaki, the protruding platform at the front of the shrine.

The Frontal View:

Hitasaki is the tip of the "Takabutai" (High Stage) area. Standing here allows you to take a perfectly centered photo of the Great Torii Gate. It is considered the most sacred and beautiful angle for photography.

Wait for Your Turn:

Because it is the most popular spot, there is often a short queue. Please be prepared to wait for a few minutes to capture the perfect shot without other people in the frame.

Evening Photography:

At sunset, the Torii gate is backlit, creating a dramatic silhouette. After sunset, the gate is illuminated, providing a mystical atmosphere that looks stunning from Hitasaki.
